Pemasangan Lensa Kontak ( INSERTION CONTACT LENSES )

Cuci tangan terlebih dahulu sebelum menangani lensa kontak

Wash your hands before handling your contact lenses

Keringkan, karena lensa kontak dapat lengket jika jari anda basah

Dry your hands throughly, cause soft lenses may flatten if your finger's wet

Keluarkan lensa kontak dari tempatnya dan letakkan di telapak tangan kiri anda

Take the lens out of the container and then place the lens on the palm of your left hand

Berikan beberapa tetes solution dan gosok selama 20 – 30 detik

Squeeze some solution into your palm and rub it for 20 to 30 second

Lakukan langkah ke-4 sekali lagi untuk memastikan lensa kontak bersih dari kotoran

Do the step 4 once again to make it sure that the contacts free from tears, deposits or particle

Diujung jari telunjuk letakkan lensa kontak dengan bentuk seperti mangkok

Cup it side up on the tip of your index finger ( you'll feel tight if the contacts were upside down )

Tarik kelopak bawah dengan jari tengah anda dan tarik kelopak atas dengan jari tengah tangan kiri anda

Pull down your lower lid with your right middle finger and lift the upper lid with the other hand

Tempatkan lensa kontak di depan mata anda terlebih dahulu dan lihatlah ke bawah

Look at the lens, place the lens in front of your eye and then look down

Masukkan lensa kontak ke sklera ( bagian putih mata ), setelah itu lepaskan kelopak atas baru kelopak bawahnya dilepaskan, tutup mata anda dan kedipkan

Place the lens on sklera ( white part of our eyes ), release your upper lid first afterwards the lower lid, close your eye and blink it

Lakukan langkah yang sama untuk mata yang satunya

Do the same way for the other eye

Note : Ketika memasang lensa kontak tempatkan di sklera kenapa ? karena sklera adalah bagian dari mata kita yang tidak ada pembuluh darahnya sehingga ketika ditempatkan di sklera tidak membuat mata kita secara refleks berkedip.

Melepas Lensa Kontak ( REMOVAL )

Cuci tangan terlebih dahulu dan keringkan

Wash your hands before handling your contact lenses and dry it

Beri tetes terlebih dahulu jika lensa kontak anda terasa kering sebelum anda mencoba melepasnya

Lubricate your contacts if your contacts were dry before trying to remove them

Tarik kelopak bawah dengan jari tengah tangan kanan anda dan tarik kelopak atas dengan jari tengah tangan kiri anda

Pull down your lower lid with your right middle finger and lift the upper lid with the other hand

Geser lensa kontak ke bagian putih mata anda dengan jari telunjuk

Slide the lens down to the white part of your eye with your index finger

Cubit dengan menggunakan telunjuk dan jempol, kemudian keluarkan lensa kontak

Pinch between forefinger and thumb, then lift it out of your eye

Bersihkan lensa kontak sebelum menyimpannya di tempatnya dan pastikan dengan terendam solution

Clean them before keep them in a container and be sure that the contacts are stored in plenty of solution

Note : Jangan melepas lensa kontak menggunakan kuku, karena dapat membuat lensa kontak menjadi robek lalu fungsi kenapa di geser terlebih dahulu ke sklera agar menghindari mencubit lensa kontak dan mengenai limbus ( banyak pembuluh darahnya )

Do not remove contact lenses using a nail, because it can tear the contact lens. And make sure sliding to the sclera first to avoid pinching the contact lens and hit the limbus ( limbus has many blood vessels )
